KIPP Academy Nashville (KAN) is a free, open-enrollment public charter school in the heart of East Nashville.
KAN is proud to be recognized as a 2024-25 TVAAS Level 5 school for student growth and achievement among the top public schools in Tennessee.

Our Approach
KIPP Nashville Academy offers students a holistic educational experience that is focused on individualized learning, rigorous academics and opportunities to develop their authentic selves. At KAN, all students participate in music, with the option to join our world-class performance choir. Extracurricular opportunities include student council, basketball, cross country, track, cheerleading, step team and a variety of clubs.
