Because of KIPP, I am doing, becoming, and dreaming of so much more.
TOGETHER, WE ARE SO MUCH MORE.
On April 20, 2026, we celebrated our pursuit of So Much More with a morning of music, connection, and inspiration at our annual Leaders & Scholars Breakfast.
Welcoming over 600 leaders from across Nashville, Coach Clark Lea of Vanderbilt football, and Dr. Halima Labi, Principal of KIPP Nashville Collegiate Prep High School shared thoughts about excellence, leadership, and the strength of being connected.
We showcased talents of over 100 students, celebrated the dedication of our teachers and staff, and dreamed of a bright future for our students and city. Every attendee is a part of this story and we are grateful for their partnership.

I had the chance to visit KIPP this spring. It was supposed to be 45 minutes. I stayed two hours. What struck me was vision, to see Randy and his team talk about growth, to hear the energy behind their plans for expanding facilities. After 21 years of delivering results, it was inspiring to witness a commitment to not just success, but progress. Challenge leads to change, change leads to growth, and growth leads to self-discovery.

When I arrived at KIPP almost two years ago, what I saw was
potential—real, undeniable potential—but it wasn’t fully activated yet. We doubled down on strong academics. We focused on alignment as a team because adults set the tone. And we are relentless about preparing students for the real world. The details matter.Dr. Halima Labi
